accom3Accommodation The cottage offers self-catering accommodation suitable for a weekend, short-term, or medium-term stay. It is not a bed & breakfast but a tranquil retreat for couples, families, or friends, offering an opportunity to engage with the serene local surroundings.

Kurringai Cottage offers a cozy, fully furnished, self-contained dwelling with solar backup. It features three bedrooms: two equipped with queen-sized beds and one with two single beds, comfortably accommodating up to six guests. During winter, electric blankets, two split systems, and ample blankets and doonas provide warmth, while in summer, air conditioning in the living area and bedrooms ensures comfort.

The living room features a TV, radio, and an extensive library of books for both non-fiction and fiction enthusiasts, complemented by air conditioning and stunning garden views. The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooktop, oven, microwave, fridge, pantry, and a full range of cookware, crockery, and cutlery. Additionally, there’s a separate laundry with a washing machine and ironing facilities.

A generous verandah equipped with a gas barbecue and ample outdoor seating provides sweeping views amidst a native garden, drawing wildlife including the Yellow-footed Antechinus, Honeyeaters, Superb Fairy-wrens, Turquoise Parrots, Diamond Firetails, and a variety of birds such as the Crested Shrike-tit. In winter, the morning sun bathes the verandas and living room, which enjoy a northeasterly aspect with views over Wangaratta to the north and towards Oxley, Milawa, Myrtleford, and the Victorian Alps to the east. To preserve the diverse wildlife, pets are not permitted. WIFI is available for guests’ convenience.
